Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have become a critical strategy in addressing education challenges worldwide. By combining resources, expertise, and networks, governments, businesses, and non-profits can co-create sustainable education solutions.

For instance, in Kenya, the Tusome Early Literacy Program—backed by the government and private stakeholders—has improved literacy rates among primary school students. In South Africa, partnerships between organizations like TEDSF and corporate entities have facilitated mentorship programs, infrastructure development, and digital learning initiatives.

However, for PPPs to be effective, transparency and accountability are crucial. The involvement of all stakeholders—including educators and communities—ensures that the benefits are widespread and impactful.
