Skin conductance refers to the moment the skin becomes a good conductor of electricity due to stimuli from the outside or inside the body. Skin resistance refers to the opposition of electricity flow in the body by the skin. Skin was dependent on the sweat glands so the higher the sweat glands activity ,the lower the resistance. When sweat gland activity increases this inturn increases skin conductance and thus skin conductance and skin resistance have an inverse relationship.
