$\frac{2x-1}{3} + x + 2 = 0$

$3(\frac{2x-1}{3}) + 3(x) + 3(2) = 3(0)$

$(2x - 1) + 3x + 6 = 0$

$5x +5 =0$

$5x = -5$

Therefore $x = -1$
