As world leaders gather for the UN General Assembly in September, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will be hosting the third annual Goalkeepers event in New York City on September 24 and 25. This year, Goalkeepers will focus on the challenge of fighting global inequality to ensure no one is left behind.
The 2019 Goalkeepers Report is set to be launched on the 17th of Septmeber 2019.The report is published every year and charts the progress toward the Global Goals. This year’s report focuses on youth population growth that will affect future world progress. The report is as a rsult of the question, “How do we know we’re making progress towards the Global Goals?”.
Key dates to remember:
- Goalkeepers report will launch on Sept. 17
- The Global Goals Awards will occur on Sept. 24
- Goalkeepers event will occur on Sept. 25
As with previous events, the September 25 event will be livestreamed so that you can follow along from wherever you are. Details will be shared with you closer to the event day.
